Swedish casino software supplier Net Entertainment are making fortunes yet again this week, right after they were hitting the news when the Mega Fortune slot game paid out a very big slot machine jackpot. This time it is another of their online progressive slots which paid out, with Hall of Gods having its jackpot hit and paying out a massive €6.4 million sum to one lucky player who was in the right place at the right time. Net Entertainment slots are becoming hugely popular around the world, and this is yet another example of one of the reasons why that is the case.
There has been a lot of hype generated by players visiting sites such as Betsson Casino lately, as they were all noticing that Hall of Gods had the highest jackpot amount of all of the progressive games offered by the casinos, and it continued to rise and rise. When it passed the €6 million mark, it seems that even more players than normal started to run to the sites to try and be the one who would win the jackpot on the Norse themed slot game. With five reels and twenty pay lines, it is a traditionally formatted game which is very popular with players, featuring great graphics and animations which really make it come to life. It has not yet been reported who it is that will be taking home the progressive slot jackpot, as Net Entertainment have not yet come forward to make their press statement about the win, but this is the first win since the last payout back in April of €6.7 million. At that time, the winner was a Swedish player from Norkoping who was in his 60s, and who reportedly wages just two euros at the Betsson online casino in order to land the jackpot.
This win comes just days after the Mega Fortune progressive jackpot payout was reported, with a Finnish player having been able to take home €3.2 million after staking just five euros on the game. “Yet again one of Net Entertainment’s games has delivered a life-changing jackpot,” said the Chief Executive Officer of Net Entertainment, Per Eriksson at the time. “The significance of progressive jackpots within the online gaming industry continues to grow and this win further enhances their importance in player acquisition for operators. We pass on our congratulations to the lucky winner.” This is not the first time that Net Entertainment have really garnered a lot of attention, as they broke records in January by beating Mega Moolah to the top spot of the highest online payout ever. A player managed to win more than €17 million at that point, which was a big enough news story to get an entry into the Guinness Book of World Records. It remains to be seen how long they can hold the record for, with some of the big progressive jackpot games rising higher and higher every time that they are hit, thanks to a higher number of players taking part in the games.
